IDAS – Refund & Return policy
At iDAS, we strive to provide excellent customer service when assisting customers with returns or exchanges for goods purchased from our online store. Our returns policy is supplementary to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ). To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
-The returned goods must be unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition
-The receipts and tax invoices must be valid and intact
-The product must be returned within 14 days from the day the customer received the goods
Please note that custom-manufactured items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Refunds will be provided in the original tender, with credit card refunds processed back onto the credit card used for the purchase. A credit card must be present to receive a refund.
TRADE ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS
For trade account customers, presenting goods for return or exchange requires a copy of the original invoice along with the goods to arrange an account credit. Commercial quantities are usually not eligible for change of mind returns or exchanges.
CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS
Exceptions to the change of mind, refund, or exchange policy include custom-made products, items specifically cut to size at customer’s request, and used or altered items not in original condition. However, these products can still be returned if they are defective or incorrectly supplied.
FAULTY PRODUCTS
Under the Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to a replacement, refund, or repair for faulty or unacceptable quality products, those not fit for intended purpose, or those not matching their sample or description. It is essential to keep the receipt, as proof of purchase may be necessary for returns or exchanges.
